A completely different experience from the traditional terry cloth towel, this snowy white towel from Daitou Shingu is composed of five airy layers of cotton gauze. The traditional wazarashi bleaching process, unlike quick, chemical bleaching, requires a rigorous four days and uses a rare wazarashi kiln, but delivers an exceptionally pure, wonderfully soft end result. And unlike pile towels, which become harder over time with continued washings, gauze towels become softer, fluffier, and more absorbent the more they are laundered.
This one is specially sized for baby.
